de Promotion Commerciale et Industrielle S.A. (PROMOBANK)
has been in business for over thirty (30) years. Founded in
1974, it functioned until June 1994 as Banque Nationale de
Paris (BNP) Haiti, a branch of one of the leading French international
banks. Private investors with more than seventy-five (75)
years of commitment to Haiti, acquired the assets, management
and know-how of BNP in Haiti and elected to continue the activities
of the bank under the name PROMOBANK.

under new ownership, the bank has continued its tradition
